This video is a year old, but I still like it!

Oh dear, I had this blog forgotten, but here's a poem:

I wrote a thousand songs in the sand and the sea took them,
erased my silly words and swallowed the feelings behind them
uncaring of my grief, it drowned the tears I shed
and lay them to rest beneath countless others,
it hid them beneath the earth itself, under sea shells;
and only returned my tears, for the tears are salt
and the sea did not want more of it.

So I wrote again, little nothings and little stories
on and about the exile I was forced to take,
but I would not give them to the sea, for it betrayed me once
and could do so again if it so will it my message would be lost

forever and ever, until the sky above my head collapsed
and shatter me to a thousands of hundreds of pieces,
so I took a bottle and place them there,

corked it and tossed into the sea,
for he could hide those words if it so wanted,
but could not erase the sentiment behind them.

Summary: A look at Leah Clearwater and the troubles that mark her.
Warnings: Many things will probably make you want to head desk. You have been warned.
Author’s Notes: Oh lord, I had to restrain myself. I really had to. Anyway, commentary and criticism is highly encouraged. Also, this is the first on a series of essays regarding the issues on everything that’s wrong with Twilight.

Ah Leah, poor old, spinster, resentful, reckless and spiteful Leah. Leah, the Bitch. Leah, the one we aren’t meant to like and yet, quite accidentally, we do. Leah, the holder of grudges, Leah the ‘one who ruins things’. Poor thing.

We did it kids, the last chapter! My snark/commentary is in italics now.

It was oddly consoling to know I wasn’t the only one living out a tragic love story. Heartbreak was everywhere.
Gee, dramatic much?
But I will say this, poor Angela suffering for Ben… is every female on this series unhappy without a man? Wait, don't answer that. I already know the answer.

And onwards we go, we're down to one chapter left! Also as usual, snark/commentary is in purple.

I’d left Bella’s room less than an hour ago. I was already aching to see her again.

You can’t stand an hour away from her? Dude, you’re pathetic. Oh, and by the way, this isn’t romantic at all.

Hi guys! This one of my favorite recipes that I've developed. It's super tasty and it's not overly sweet. And you can really taste the coconut! So I hope you all enjoy!

1 cup milk
1 cup coconut milk
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. coconut extract
1 cup dried coconut (sweetened or unsweetened it's your choice!)
Favorite crust (I use the graham cookie crust)

How you do it:
  1. In a heavy saucepan, add the milk, the sugar and the cornstarch and mix well, until both sugar and cornstarch has dissolved.
  2. In a cup, mix the coconut milk and the egg yolks together well.
  3. Place the saucepan at medium heat and stir. Incorporate the coconut milk & yolk mixture. Continue stirring until it has begun to thicken.
  4. Keep stirring until all has incorporated well and large bubbles come up to the surface. Remove from fire and add the extract, mix well.
  5. Pass through a sieve to remove whatever lumps are in. Add the dried coconut and mix well.
  6. Place in crust and let it cool for half an hour at room temperature. After that, you can put it in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
  7. Take out of fridge 20 mins before serving.
  8. Enjoy!

Welcome again, as usual my snark/commentary is in purple.

“I thought we were past all the evasiveness,” she said, her tone critical and disappointed.

Dear Bella, you’ve been friends for a grand total of two weeks, maybe? And you just expect him to cough up everything you want to know?
Good one.

So this week was a special week organized by one of my favorite Star Wars blogs, Spacelatinxs. The thing was to make something using the following prompts:
  1. Favorite Character
  2. Favorite Relationship
  3. Favorite Line or Scene
  4. Cast
  5. Hero
  6. Legacy
  7. Free Day.

I did for day 1 Cassian Andor. For day 2 I did Jyn & Cassian, for day 3 I used Cassian's "Rebelion's are built on hope." quote. For day 4 I did an edit of Diego Luna, for day 5 I did Poe blowing Starkiller Base, for day 6 I did Shara Bey & Kes Dameron and for day 7 I did my favorite Bail Organa quotes.

I'm quite proud of my work save on day 1, it was rushed and it could have been better, but oh well. And I have to say, it was fun to participate in something that celebrated the Latinx community for once. Specially in Star Wars, so yay.

As per usual, my snark is in purple. Have fun.

Oh man, this chapter doesn’t start well; it starts of course with female cattiness.

Bella still looks pissed. Ha ha. I can’t believe she’s so upset about it, though. At least she has a back up date for the prom.

Does he think she’s prettier than me? Does she think she’s prettier than me?
Does she really think that? Or does she want me to look like a cow on Saturday.

Ahh the fresh smell of female insecurity and cattiness. I love this series. [Mind my sarcasm ladies and gents.]

Jimmy Fallon and his crew have done it again, they did an amazing Star Wars video to the tune of All Star by Smash Mouth. So enjoy and Happy 4th!
